What is happening at the property?
A couple of details make a real difference to how quickly this gets sorted. Have them ready when you call.
No power at all
Start by checking the street. If the neighbours still have lights, the fault is on your side of the meter and it needs an electrician rather than the municipality.
The board will not hold
If a single breaker keeps dropping, leave it down. If the main switch drops, leave the whole board off and call, because the fault could be anywhere on the property.
The geyser has gone cold
An element or a thermostat can fail quietly, or it can take the circuit with it. Tell us whether the water is cold or only lukewarm, and whether the power went at the same time.
The house is old and the wiring has never been checked

A call-out fee of R750 applies to every call. An emergency, rated 7 or higher, is entitled to skip the work queue and be next in line if a fee of R1,500 is agreed to, or else the normal work queue applies. There is no charge for a quote.
